Good News: Those who got government jobs and pension also got farmers’ honor fund, 40 returned money

Bareilly’s donors have set a great example amidst growing cases of government money grab. Despite not being eligible due to the mistakes of the system, 40 farmers themselves returned the office access amount when the Samman fund came into the account. Majority of those who have returned the Samman Nidhi are people who are government employees, pensioners or landless. A large number of farmers were added at the beginning of the scheme. In such a situation, the name of these people also came in the list of eligible farmers of Samman Nidhi. Installments of the scheme also reached the accounts of many farmers. Despite having money in the account, the faith of these farmers did not waver. Ineligible farmers in the district voluntarily returned 96 thousand rupees to the department. The department has deposited the returned money in Bharatkosh. Deputy Director Agriculture Ashok Yadav said that the department is running a campaign to withdraw the Samman Nidhi from ineligible farmers. 40 farmers set an example of honesty and returned the amount themselves. He said that after taking inspiration from these farmers, many more people are also ready to return the amount of Samman Nidhi.

The most landless and government employees

are the most government employees and landless people among the farmers who voluntarily returned the honor fund. In the district, a total of 15 landless, 16 government employees, two pensioners along with four pensioners, two women farmers, and three farmers whose wife are also getting benefits of the scheme have returned the Samman Nidhi.
