Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana Apply : Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off a scheme for farmers. This scheme will provide double help to the farmers. That is, earlier under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), farmers used to get Rs 6 thousand. Now the government has doubled this financial help to the farmers. Actually, PM Modi announced ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana’ during his visit to Maharashtra yesterday. Small farmers of Maharashtra will benefit from this.
During the public event, the Prime Minister launched the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’. With this scheme, more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra will be benefited by providing an additional amount of Rs 6,000 per year. Earlier, farmers used to get only Rs 6000, now it will be double for the farmers in Maharashtra.

How to apply for ‘Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi’?
The person applying should have residence proof of Maharashtra. Aadhar card, voter identity card should also be there. Mobile number will have to be entered and also PM-Kisan registration number will have to be mentioned.
Apart from this, documents related to agricultural land will have to be submitted and bank account information will also have to be given.

No separate portal has been created yet for the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi scheme. However, information about the scheme can be obtained on the official website of the Agriculture Department of the Government of Maharashtra. Farmers who are receiving financial assistance under PM Kisan Yojana are eligible for Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Scheme. However, they will have to apply separately.
