Sarkari Naukri 2021: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor posts. All interested and eligible candidates can apply online for OPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2021 through official website opsc.gov.in till 25 November 2021. The application process for recruitment to these posts will be started from 26 October 2021.
According to the official notification, a total of 606 vacant posts of Assistant Professor will be recruited through this process. In which, 75 posts of Physics, 63 posts of Mathematics, 85 posts of Chemistry, 48 posts of Botany, 44 posts of English, 40 posts of Economics, 30 posts of Commerce, 14 posts of Psychology and 12 posts of Sociology and many other posts. Are included.
For recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor, the candidate must have a master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized institute or university. Whereas, reserved category candidates should have passed in post graduation with 50% marks. Apart from this, the candidate should have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) or Ph.D. in the relevant subject from an Indian/Foreign University. Must have degree. Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate for recruitment to these posts should be between 21 years to 45 years as on the last date of submission of online application.
