Heavy rains may occur in Kerala and Mahe, coastal Karnataka during the next 7 days. Till June 10, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka may receive rains with strong winds up to 40 kmph. Heavy rains (IMD Rain Alert) may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe during June 10 to 13.

There is a possibility of rain at some places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 7 days. On 7 and 8 June, rain along with thunderstorms and strong winds of 40 to 50 kmph are possible in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains (Weather Update Latest News) may occur in Vidarbha from 7 to 9 June, in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands till 11 June, in Gangetic West Bengal on 11 June, in Bihar till 13 June and in Jharkhand during 10 and 11 June.

There is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds at the speed of 40-50 kmph and rain in Uttarakhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh during 11 to 13 June. There may be rain in eastern Rajasthan on 7 and 8. Heavy rain may also occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh during 11 to 13 June, in Himachal Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh on 12 and 13 June and in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi (Delhi NCR Weather Update) on 13 June.

Apart from this, the Indian Meteorological Department has also issued a warning about strong dust storms. Dust storms can blow in western Rajasthan during 9, 10, 11 and 13 June. The wind speed can be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
