Step 1: Visit the Income Tax Department’s e-Filing website and click on Instant e-PAN.
Step 2: Select the Get New e-PAN option.
Step 3: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, select the consent box, and click Continue.
- If Aadhaar is already linked to your PAN, a message will appear.
- If Aadhaar is not linked to your mobile number, a message will still appear.
Step 4: Read the consent terms, tick the box, and click Continue.
Step 5: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, select the Aadhaar details verification box, and click Continue.
Step 6: Accept the Aadhaar details and click Continue.
If successful, an Acknowledgement Number will appear on the screen. Keep it safe for future reference. You will also receive a confirmation message on your mobile.
