He said that 22 lakh houses are to be built in Uttar Pradesh. The poor had to suffer due to the wrong policies of the earlier government.

Central government provides help to build a permanent house

It is worth mentioning that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the central government is providing financial assistance to the weaker sections of the rural areas to build their own pucca houses. And the government is also helping financially in ensuring the old house. In PMAY-G (PMAYG), you can avail loans up to 6 lakh rupees at an interest rate of only 6 percent per annum. If you need more than this to build a house, then you will have to take a loan at the normal interest rate on that additional amount.



This is how one can apply for Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme

To apply under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, the government has also created a mobile-based housing application and can download it from Google’s Play Store. After this, you have to register with your mobile number. After registering via OTP received on mobile, important information has to be told. The central government elects beneficiaries after applying to get a home under PMAY-G (PMAYG). After this, the final list of the beneficiaries is put on the PMAY-G website. Under this scheme, all the work is done online and more of the office also does not have to be cut.
