Why did you turn to civil service after doing MBBS? In response to this question, Pradeep Gawande says that he got inspiration from his seniors and later he decided to follow in the footsteps of seniors preparing for UPSC.
Who is there in the family?
Pradeep Gawande has two siblings. His elder brother Dr Hemant Gawande is MBBS doctor and working in PHC of Aurangabad district. While his younger sister is also an MBBS doctor. Sister is married and posted in a private hospital in Mumbai. Pradeep Gawande’s brother-in-law is also an MBBS doctor.
His mother is a retired school teacher and father was an officer in the bank. The father passed away in the year 2013. Most of the relatives/friends of Gawande family live in and around Pune city and hence Pradeep Gawande’s wedding reception will be held in Pune on 24th April.
