IMD Alert: Big News! Heavy rain for 84 hours in 17 states, know the weather forecast of your states

Heavy rainfall possible at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala and Mahe. Weather system

Also a cyclonic circulation has formed around North-West Madhya Pradesh. Due to which a line is extending from East Madhya Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh to West Central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, rain activity will be seen in some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand. The minimum temperature recorded in New Delhi today was 25 degrees Celsius. The sky is cloudy. Light drizzle may be seen in some areas.

Apart from this, another cyclonic circulation has formed in and around East Central Bengal. In such a situation, there is a possibility of formation of a low pressure in the next 48 hours. It is also predicted that he will soon turn into deep depression. Due to this, heavy rain may be seen at some places around Eastern and North-Eastern India and South Chhattisgarh. Along with this, a warning has been issued of rain with thunder and heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands till September 15.

Rain activity continues

Rain activity will be seen in some areas of Orissa and Jharkhand till September 15, while in West Bengal also heavy rains are expected on September 14 and 15. Talking about the eastern states, on September 12, an alert of heavy rain was issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Landslide warning has been issued while moderate to moderate rain has also been predicted in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura from 12 to 15 September.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms have been predicted in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand on 12 and 13 September. There may be heavy rain in Uttar Pradesh today. Red alert was issued today while alert of heavy rain has been issued in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand and North Eastern states. Landslides may occur due to rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal.

Rain in these states

Warning of light to moderate rain has been issued in Karnataka and Kerala, while heavy rain has been predicted in Chhattisgarh, Orissa, East Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Telangana, Rajasthan and Sikkim. Light rain may be seen in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka and West Madhya Pradesh.

Heavy rain alert was issued in 20 districts of Uttar Pradesh, while the possibility of heavy rain has also been expressed in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand. Rain activity is going to continue in the eastern and southern regions of Madhya Pradesh. Schools have been kept closed in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.

There is a possibility of rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh for the next 5 days. Western disturbances are expected to be active at many places. Heavy rain alert issued in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Heavy rain alert has also been issued in Kerala including Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and West Bengal. Rain activity will be seen in these areas till September 17. At the same time, warning of thunderstorm along with lightning and heavy rain has been issued in Konkan, Goa, Ghat region of Central Maharashtra and Marathwada.

  • Jammu Division, North Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Northern Interior Thunderstorm and lightning may occur at isolated places in Karnataka.
  • Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph are likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
  • Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya.
