IMD Cyclone Alert: There will be torrential rains in these states from tomorrow, know the condition of your state

IMD Cyclone Alert: The Meteorological Department has said that the deep depression over the Bay of Bengal can turn into a cyclonic storm by Saturday evening and can hit the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh on the night of 26 May. The cyclonic storm forming in the Bay of Bengal can make landfall at a speed of 110-120 kilometers per hour. It can reach a speed of up to 135 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of extremely heavy rain in the coastal districts of West Bengal and North Odisha on May 26-27.

Apart from this, some parts of Northeast India may receive extremely heavy rainfall on 27-28 May. At the time of the storm’s arrival, there is a possibility of waves up to 1.5 meters high in the sea, which may submerge low-lying areas of coastal West Bengal and Bangladesh. The Meteorological Department has warned fishermen not to venture into the sea in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal till the morning of May 27. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the coastal districts of West Bengal (South and North 24 Parganas) on May 26 and 27. Heavy rain is expected at some places here.

At the same time, heat wave is going on in areas like North West India, Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, heat wave is expected in Western Himalayan region, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh during the next four to five days. Talking about monsoon, the Meteorological Department has given good news saying that the south-west monsoon has advanced into the remaining parts of south-east Bay of Bengal. Besides, it is likely to further advance into some more parts of southwest and central Bay of Bengal, and northeast Bay of Bengal. It is known that monsoon may hit Kerala on 31st May.

Talking about yesterday’s weather, heat wave occurred in Western Rajasthan, Eastern Rajasthan and Western Madhya Pradesh. Heatwave conditions were also seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Delhi Vidarbha, Haryana, Chandigarh etc. The highest temperature reached 49 degrees Celsius in Phalodi in western Rajasthan.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal between 25-29 May. There will also be heavy rain in Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Coastal Karnataka. There will also be rain in Chhattisgarh on May 25 and 26, Jharkhand on May 25-28, Bihar on May 26-28, Uttarakhand on May 25-29, Vidarbha on May 25, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
