IMD Rainfall Alert: Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, there was light to moderate rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

IMD Rainfall Alert: Temperature is increasing rapidly in the states of North India. The heat is continuously increasing. However, during this period it is also raining at many places. Two new western disturbances are going to hit the hilly states, due to which the weather patterns will change. It will rain in many states. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has said that there is going to be heavy rain and thunderstorm in Northeast India and Sikkim for the next five days i.e. from 22-26 March.

Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, there was light to moderate rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, rainfall has also been recorded in Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka. At the same time, there was a heatwave situation in Saurashtra and Kutch areas of Gujarat.

On the other hand, there will be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh on 22, 23 and 25 and 26 March. Apart from this, there is going to be heavy rain in Sikkim on 23 March, Assam and Meghalaya on 23, 25 and 26 March. At the same time, light to moderate rain and thunderstorm and lightning activities will be seen in Gangetic West Bengal on March 22. There will be rain in Bihar on 23rd and 24th.

In the coming days, two western disturbances will hit the hilly states of North India. The first western disturbance is going to arrive on the night of 23rd March and the second on 26th March, due to which the weather patterns will change. There will be rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on March 22, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on March 22-24. Apart from this, rain alert has also been issued in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh on 26 and 27 March.

The Meteorological Department says that there is going to be light to moderate rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand for 23-28 i.e. six days. Talking about the plains, there will be light rain in Punjab on 22 and 24 March, and in North Rajasthan on 24 March. Strong winds are also expected in Punjab and Haryana during March 22-24.
