The Meteorological Department stated that dense to very dense fog may prevail in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh during the morning and night.
The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for heavy rain in five states. Furthermore, a cold wave is expected in 19 cities across North India, increasing the likelihood of further cold.

Fog warning from Bihar to Rajasthan

According to the Meteorological Department, fog is expected in 15 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
How will the weather be in Uttarakhand
Fog may be felt in many areas of Uttarakhand this morning. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is likely to cover five cities in the state. A yellow fog alert has been issued for Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar.
In addition, light fog is expected in parts of Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, and Champawat in the morning. Meanwhile, the International Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an avalanche warning for four mountainous districts: Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Pithoragarh, advising people to remain vigilant.
