Referring to the incident, Monu said that one day in the year 2006, his wife was ill. Monu used to run a restaurant on rented land. That’s why his wife Geeta called and said that while coming home at night, bring parathas. When wife Geeta and Monu were sitting with their two and a half year old daughter Tapasya to eat parathas.

30 kg weight tawa brought from the market

He told that he started looking for a pan to make the biggest paratha. When he reached the market, a street vendor was making tikkis on a big pan. From there, there was hope for success. After reaching the market, he bought a tawa weighing 30 kg and brought it.

Monu believes that putting such a huge paratha on the pan was the biggest challenge. There were big problems in the beginning. He told that the size of the paratha is up to two feet. While there is a paratha weighing 1.25 kg. Normal 10 parathas can be prepared from the parathas prepared here. A reward of one lakh rupees has also been announced for the person who eats the concerned paratha while sitting in the restaurant. Even after many years, no single person has been able to eat a paratha.

Franchise closed in Chandigarh

Monu says that about three years ago a person opened a franchise in Chandigarh. Last year, due to the loss in the Kovid period, the person there closed the franchise.
