CBSE has started free psycho-social counselling for board students. This helpline will help in reducing the stress of students and parents during exams through tele-counselling and digital resources.
CBSE has started free psycho-social counselling for class 10th and 12th students from January 6. Its aim is to reduce the stress and anxiety of students during the board exams.
Many students face pressure, fear and mental stress before the board exams. This initiative of CBSE is to make the students mentally strong and confident.
This counseling isn’t just for students. Parents can also join to better understand their children and provide them with the right guidance.
CBSE has started a 24-hour helpline on 1800-11-8004. This service is available in both Hindi and English and answers questions related to exams, time management and stress.
Tele-counseling will be available from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays. 73 trained experts, including principals, counselors, and psychologists, will assist students.
CBSE has also provided digital resources related to study planning, emotional management and self-care on its website to make preparation easier.
All these services will continue until June 1, 2026. CBSE theory exams will begin on February 17, 2026. The board’s clear message is that mental balance is just as important as studies.
