Eastern Railway has said that the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) will not work from 23.45 pm on 23rd October to 5.00 am on 24th October.

According to Eastern Railway’s tweet, due to maintenance activity in Kolkata’s PRS data center, ticket generation will not take place. This work will run from 23.45 pm on 23rd October to 24th October at 5 am. Therefore, passengers should book tickets in advance, otherwise they may face problems.

Eastern Railway has told that during the maintenance activity South Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway, South East Central Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway and East All services including internet booking, inquiry will remain closed in Central Railway. According to media reports, in the northeastern states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, the states falling under these railway zones, online booking of railway tickets, online retiring room, inquiries etc. Services will not be available.
