IRCTC gifts Rakshabandhan to women train passengers! Special cashback offer starts from today, check details

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has started cashback offer for women passengers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. Under this, women will be given a special discount in the fare for traveling by Tejas train.

New Delhi. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a subsidiary of Indian Railways, has offered a special cash back offer for women passengers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Under this, women passengers will get a discount in the fare, which they will get in the form of cashback. This cashback offer will be given to women passengers of Tejas Express trains running between Lucknow-Delhi and Ahmedabad-Mumbai. IRCTC is also planning to launch more attractive travel offers for passengers of premium trains in the coming festivals.

How long will IRCTC’s cashback offer be applicable
According to IRCTC, today i.e. between August 15 and August 24, 2021, all women passengers traveling in two premium trains ‘Tejas’ will be allowed to travel on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. A special cashback offer of 5 percent in fare has been started. The cashback offer will be applicable only for the trips performed during the given period. During this period women can travel any number of times. Every time the discount on the fare under the cashback offer will be credited to the same account from which the tickets have been booked. The cashback offer will also be applicable for women passengers who have already booked tickets for this travel period prior to the launch of the offer.

Corona protocol will have to be followed during the journey
Tejas Express is running on Lucknow-Delhi-Lucknow (Train No. 82501/02) and Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Ahmedabad and (Train No. 82901/02) routes. Following the health and safety protocols of all passengers, the Railways has resumed operations of its two premium passenger trains from 7 August. IRCTC is currently operating both Tejas trains for four days in a week i.e. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
