For Udaipur-Khajuraho Express train, the route of trains passing through this route has been changed due to rail line doubling on 21.44 km long rail section between Mahoba-Kulpahar, upgradation of Charkhari Road station from D class to B class and non-interlocking work at Mahoba station.

Direct connectivity from Bhilwara to Bihar

As Bhilwara district of Rajasthan is an industrial area, there are a large number of industries here. There are lakhs of migrant workers and labourers in these industries. A large number of them are from Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, railway transport is considered to be very easy and cheap for them. Through this they go to their homes and through the same train these workers reach their employment district i.e. Bhilwara. Rail is their only means of transportation.
