JioPhone Next rollout will start before Diwali, Reliance Jio announced late Thursday

JioPhone Next Launch Updates: The launch date of Reliance Jio’s 4G smartphone JioPhone Next, to be launched on September 10, has been postponed. Now the launch of the phone will be before Diwali. Actually, the launch of the phone is getting delayed due to chip shortage across the world. Reliance Jio’s Google Powered Jio Phone Next is going to be the cheapest phone in the world.


Let us tell you that, late on Thursday night, Reliance Jio issued a statement. It said that both the companies have started testing JioPhone Next with limited users and are actively working to make it more widely available for the festive season of Diwali. This additional time will also help in reducing the current global semiconductor shortfall.

Possible Features and Specifications of Jio Phone Next

JioPhone Next is built with a host of great features like Google Assistant, automatic read and language translation for any on-screen text, a smart camera with India-centric filters. Although Jio has not given much details about the upcoming smartphone, but it did reveal some details about the phone. For one thing, it apparently works on 4G – as it is meant to work on the Relaice Jio network. It will also have Read Aloud and Translate Now features to make it more accessible to the users. The phone also comes preloaded with Google Play and India specific Snapchat lenses.

Talking about the camera, it was revealed in some reports that Jio Phone Next will have a rear and a front camera setup. There will be a sensor in the rear. It has been told in some reports that the camera will also have augmented reality filters.


What will be the price of Jio Phone Next?

At the time of the launch announcement, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani had told that the target of this smartphone is to give a product in line with the Indian market, to the users, at an affordable price. It was called an ultra-affordable 4G smartphone. Nothing is clear about its price yet, but it is estimated that this phone can be launched for Rs 3,499.
