In fact, some farmers have taken advantage of the Kisan Samman Nidhi by giving false information. The government is taking back the money from those who take the wrong advantage, and is also checking all the accounts.
Holi’s happiness doubled
Holi is a festival at the end of March. The transfer of the seventh installment before Holi has blossomed the faces of all those farmers who for some reason had not yet benefited from the seventh installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Now waiting for the eighth installment
Transfer will be started in Kisan Samman Nidhi accounts from one date of next month. In the new financial year starting soon after Holi, the Modi government will transfer Rs. 2 thousand of the eighth installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi.
The amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi will not increase
The amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi will not be increased. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has made it clear that no thought is going on to increase the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi. Currently, 6 thousand rupees are given annually to the farmers and till the next decision, the same amount will be transferred to the farmers in three equal installments.
