Land Prices Hike: Land rates in this city doubled in 3 days, demand coming from abroad

After Chandrababu Naidu’s return to power in Andhra Pradesh, the possibility of developing Amaravati as the green capital of the state increased. In such a situation, property prices here are increasing rapidly.

New Delhi. After the arrival of Modi government for the third time in the country, it seems as if good days have come for Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati and the state’s future CM Chandrababu Naidu. On June 12, Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in Amaravati. But, before this, the price of land in this city has doubled in 3 days. Actually, Chandra Babu Naidu has talked about developing Amaravati as the Green Capital of Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, property prices have increased rapidly here. Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister of the state from 2014 to 2019. At that time Chandrababu Naidu had proposed to make Amaravati the capital city. He dreamed of making the Greenfield capital Amaravati more prosperous from an environmental point of view. This city is located between the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur and includes 29 villages.

Land prices increased after elections

According to a TOI report, real estate prices in Amaravati city of Andhra Pradesh have increased by 50 to 100 percent after the results of the Lok Sabha elections. Since Chandrababu Naidu has been interested in developing Amaravati city as a capital from the beginning, if this announcement is made in the coming days, it will benefit Amaravati a lot. Due to this possibility, land and property prices in Amaravati have increased rapidly.

What are the land prices?

– In 2019, land prices in Amaravati were 25,000 to 60,000 square yards.

– After the formation of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government, the prices went up to Rs 9000 to Rs 18,000 per square yard.

– Now, after Chandrababu Naidu’s return to power, land prices here have gone up to Rs 30,000 to Rs 60,000 per square yard.

Highest demand in these areas

In Amravati, there is a high demand for land near educational institutes, High Court, Vidhan Sabha, Secretariat and Central Government institutions. Retailers, brokers and farmers are getting offers from countries like America, Britain and Australia to buy land.

The farmers of the city are hopeful that Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as the Chief Minister on June 12 and PM Modi will attend the swearing-in ceremony. If any big announcement is made regarding Amaravati on this occasion, then the land prices here will increase further. Earlier in 2019, after the announcement of the 3 capitals plan by former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2019, the land prices in Amaravati had fallen. But now the picture has changed along with the government.
