Successful trial was done in December
A successful trial of landing and take off of the flight at Noida International Airport was completed on 9 December. All its data was submitted by Yamuna International Airport Limited to DGCA and applied for aerodrome license on 3 January.
Flights from Jewar Airport will be cheaper than IGI
Passenger fare from Noida Airport may be less than Delhi Airport and other airports, because in the agreement before the construction of the airport, the UP government has decided to impose one percent VAT on fuel. Airplanes flying from Delhi Airport have to pay 25 percent VAT on fuel. The effect of this relief is expected to be seen on the fare of aircraft operating from Noida International Airport.
Udaan approved in Rajya Sabha
Union Civil Aviation Minister KR Naidu has approved the announcement of starting Noida Airport in April in Rajya Sabha. Earlier, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower has been completed at Noida International Airport and it has been transferred to the Airport Authority of India (AAI). After validation, some other equipment is to be installed here, which will be inspected and tested by AAI.
