Patna Special Train: With the arrival of the festive season, traveling by train is no less than an ordeal. In such a situation, the Railways has announced a significant relief for travelers. In view of the increasing number of people returning home for the festivals, the Railways has taken special steps to make their journey easier and faster.

This decision has brought smiles to the faces of travelers hoping to reach home for the festivals. The Railways has announced the launch of a special Vande Bharat Express train this season, which will run between Delhi and Patna for a limited time, making travel convenient during the festivals.

Vande Bharat Special Service to Begin on October 11th

According to Northern Railway, this special train will run from October 11 to November 16, 2025. This means the entire festival season, including Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath, will be used by this train to help people reach their homes. This train will make a total of 32 trips between New Delhi and Patna in both directions. Northern Railway Chief Spokesperson Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay stated that in view of the heavy passenger rush during the festivals, the number of special trains is being continuously increased. These include clone trains and unreserved trains.

A Special Journey Like Last Year

Keeping passengers’ convenience in mind, the Railways has decided to run the Vande Bharat Express special train this time, as it did last year. There is considerable enthusiasm among passengers for this train, known for its fast, modern, and comfortable travel. Traveling on the Vande Bharat Express has become more than just a journey for passengers, but a premium experience.

When and where will the train depart?

According to the schedule released by the Railways,

Train number 02252 will depart from New Delhi station every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 8:35 am and arrive at Patna Junction at 9:30 pm.

On the return journey, train number 02251 will depart from Patna Junction every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 10 am and arrive at New Delhi at 11:30 pm.

This train will stop at Aligarh Junction, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara stations in both directions.

A major relief for passengers

This Vande Bharat Special will have 16 modern coaches, capable of accommodating thousands of passengers. Ticket booking will begin soon. This train is a gift for those traveling to Bihar during the festive season.
