New Delhi, Online Desk. NIOS 10th, 12th Exam 2020: National Institute of Open Schooling i.e. NIOS has declared the cancellation of this year’s public examination of Secondary and Senior Secondary classes after the recent adjournment. The institute issued a notice regarding cancellation of NIOS 10th, 12th exam 2020 today on 10 July 2010 on its official website, nios.ac.in. Earlier, NIOS had announced to postpone the examinations as these examinations were to be held from July 17.

Public examination 2020 for Secondary and Senior Secondary classes of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was to be held from 24 March to 24 April 2020. However, due to the epidemic the examinations had to be postponed and the revised schedule was released on 31 May. According to which the examinations were to begin from 17 July. NIOS then issued a notice on 2 July 2020, announcing the postponement of examinations starting from 17 July. After this, on July 10, again issuing a new notice, the institute has informed the cancellation of the Public Examination 2020 for Secondary and Senior Secondary classes of NIOS and announcing the results on the basis of the new assessment scheme.
These are new assessment schemes
According to the new assessment scheme released for this year by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the results will be declared giving marks to students according to the following rules: –
All the students of Secondary and Senior Secondary who have been declared first pass in four subjects, the average marks of the three subjects with the best marks will be given as their Theory Marks for all subjects for which they will be awarded from March-April 2020. Had registered for the examinations (which could not be conducted).
At the same time, all such students of Secondary and Senior Secondary who have been declared first pass in three subjects, the average marks of the two subjects with the best marks will be given as their Theory Marks for all subjects for which they are March- Was registered for the April 2020 examinations (which could not be conducted).
