For the past few days, a post on social media is rapidly circulating. It is being claimed in this post that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is going to be held on 5 September 2021. This post has been denied by PIB, calling it completely fake news. It has been told by PIB that no such public notice has been issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NTA denied
NEET-UG is organized by the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education. This post has also been denied by NTA. It has been said from NTA that the matter of fake post being shared on Facebook and other social media has also come to its notice. NTA has completely denied that till now no decision has been taken by NTA to conduct the examination on 5th September. Along with this, NTA has asked people to ignore this post and not take it seriously.

It has been informed from NTA that it is still engaged in discussing the dates with the necessary parties to conduct the examination in the year 2021. According to the organization, no decision has been taken yet in view of the Kovid-19 epidemic. NTA has asked the candidates, parents and others to avoid such misleading posts. For dates as per NTA, candidates can visit www.nta.ac.in and https://ntaneet.nic.in. Get the information only. As per the notice issued earlier, the exam is to be conducted on 1st August. However, this information was received through the agency last month that the examination may be postponed till September. NTA is going to take a decision on the exam date soon after which information on the exam date and application form will be released on the official website.
