Answer: Information of pension paid to pensioner during one year from the centralized database by pension paying branch “Pension Seva. SBI ”will be given from the details available in the web portal.

Answer: Pension service website for pensioners: A new website https://www.pensionseva.sbi was launched on 31.08.2018 for pensioners.

In which pensioners can view their pension details by logging in. To avail this facility, first the pensioner’s email is registered in the pension application.

After the e-mail ID is added to the pension account, pensioners can register on the pension service website. The registration process is given once in the “How Do I” tab in the pension service website.

After logging in, the pensioner can get the profile details, certificate details, deposit transactions, balance sheet calculation, pension slip, Form 16, investment details, etc.

Whether Income Tax (TDS) is deducted on pension

Answer: As per Income Tax laws, the disability portion and service share of disabled officer of Indian Armed Forces are exempted. Apart from this, TDS is applicable on the pension of individual man or woman and senior citizen.
