PM Kisan 23rd Installment Date: There is a major update for farmers eagerly awaiting the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan scheme. Every year, farmers receive a total of ₹6,000, disbursed in three installments of ₹2,000 each. The 22nd installment of PM Kisan was released just last month. Now, farmers are awaiting the 23rd installment. If you are also a beneficiary of this scheme, you must obtain your Kisan ID card as soon as possible; otherwise, the ₹2,000 due as your 23rd installment could be withheld.
All farmers across the country are eligible to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan scheme. However, to streamline the process, the government has now made ‘Farmer Registration’ mandatory in certain states for those wishing to access these benefits. If you reside in one of these states, you are required to complete your farmer registration. If you are an existing beneficiary, you should ensure you have your ID card issued; if you are a new applicant, you will be unable to avail the benefits of this scheme without a valid Farmer ID.

If you belong to any of these states and wish to avail the benefits of the PM Kisan Scheme, you must first obtain a Kisan ID. Effective from the beginning of this year—2026—Kisan Registration (the creation of a Kisan ID) has been made mandatory for all new registrations under the PM Kisan Scheme.
When Will the 23rd Installment of PM Kisan Arrive?
The installments under the PM Kisan scheme are released at intervals of every four months. For instance, the 21st installment was released in November 2025, followed by the 22nd installment in March 2026. Consequently, the next—the 23rd—installment is expected to arrive around June or July 2026. Occasionally, however, the installments may be released in different months.
