PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: A new update has come regarding when all the landholding farmer families will get the 15th installment under the PM-Kisan scheme.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Millions of beneficiary farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are waiting for the new installment. It is expected that soon the 15th installment will arrive in the accounts of the farmers. Talking about media reports, the government can release the new installment between November and December 2023. However, no official announcement has been made by the Center on this matter yet. Let us tell you that the Center had released the 14th installment of the scheme on 27 July 2023.
Under the PM-Kisan scheme, all landholding farmer families get a financial benefit of Rs 6,000 per year. This Rs 6,000 is given in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The Centre’s PM Kisan Yojana provides income support to all landholding farmers’ families in the country to meet their financial needs for purchase of various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities. Under the scheme, the entire financial liability for transfer of benefits to the beneficiaries is borne by the government.
Will these farmers get installments?
All landholding farmer families, who have cultivable land in their name, are eligible to get benefits under PM Kisan Yojana. Last time, on July 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released about Rs 17,000 crore as the 14th installment to about 85 million farmer beneficiaries under the PM-Kisan scheme.
With this, the total amount transferred to beneficiaries since the launch of the scheme has now exceeded Rs 2.59 lakh crore. PM Kisan Yojana was launched on February 24, 2019.
How to apply for PM Kisan Yojana?
- First of all, go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in and go to Farmer Corner.
- Then you have to click on New Farmer Registration and enter Aadhaar number and fill the captcha.
- After this you will have to fill the information and click on ‘Yes’.
- After this, you will have to fill the information asked in PM Kisan Application Form 2023 and save it and take a print out for future.
