Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has also expressed concern over the post-election violence in Bengal. He has taken information about law and order by calling Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has given information about this by tweeting on Tuesday afternoon. The Governor tweeted and said, “ The PM called and expressed his grave pain and concern over the state of law and order which is seriously worrying. I share serious concerns with CM Mamata Banerjee. Violence, vandalism, arson, loot and murders continue unabated in the state. Control is very important on this.
before this, the Governor has summoned an immediate report from Director General of Police (DG) P Neerajanayan and Kolkata Police (CP) Commissioner Soman Mitra on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the DG and CP met the Governor and assured them of action. Despite that, violence is not taking the name of stopping.
The Governor had tweeted on Tuesday, ‘The reports reflect a frightening situation. Frightened people are running to save themselves. There is a flood of appeals in SOS. Harmad is creating a massacre of murder and destruction. Such a relationship towards constitutional values cannot be assumed. CM Mamta Banerjee should handle the system.
