Indian Railway Special Train: Good news for rail travelers. In view of Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways has decided to run several special trains through Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand in the month of October. Additionally, the Patna-Delhi Special Vande Bharat will run from Patna Junction from October 11th to November 17th, and the train from New Delhi will run from October 12th to November 16th. This train will stop at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara. Train number 05057 Gorakhpur-Delhi special train will remain canceled until February 26th, 05058 Delhi-Gorakhpur special train until February 27th, 05053 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus special train until February 27th, and 05054 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur special train until February 28th.
Indian Railway: These special trains will run in October.
The Buxar-Tatanagar Special train (08183/08184) will depart from Tatanagar on October 17th and reach Buxar on the 18th. It will depart from Buxar on the same day in the evening and return to Tatanagar on the 20th. This train will depart from Buxar every Saturday at 5:15 pm on October 18th, 25th and November 1st, while it will depart from Tatanagar every Friday from October 17th, 24th and 31st.
Train number 08869 Itwari-Jaynagar Special will run every Thursday from October 16th to November 6th. Departing Itwari at 11:00 am, it will arrive at Bokaro at 6:40 am the next day, Chandrapura at 7:28 am and Dhanbad at 9:50 am. It will reach Jaynagar at 10:30 pm via Jasidih, Darbhanga and Madhubani.
Train No. 08870 Jaynagar-Itwari Special will run every Saturday from October 18th to November 8th. It will depart from Jaynagar at 12:30 am and reach Itwari at 1 pm the next day via Dhanbad at 3:00 pm, Chandrapura at 4:30 pm, and Bokaro at 5:10 pm.
Train No. 08105 Ranchi-Jaynagar Special will depart from Ranchi every Saturday from October 18th to November 1st at 9:25 pm and reach Jaynagar at 3:15 pm the next day. 08106 Jaynagar-Ranchi Special will depart from Jaynagar every Sunday from October 19th to November 2nd at 4:45 pm and reach Ranchi at 9:15 am the next day.
Train No. 03639 Gaya-Delhi Special Express will depart from Gaya every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from October 12th to November 30th. This train will depart from Gaya at 10 pm and reach Sasaram at 11:48 pm and then proceed to Delhi.
Train No. 03640 Delhi Junction to Gaya Special train will run from Delhi every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 13 October to 1 December 2025. This train will depart from Delhi Junction at 7 pm and reach Sasaram at 9:08 am the next day, where it will halt for two minutes and then proceed towards Gaya.
Train No. 08629 Ranchi Gorakhpur Special will depart from Ranchi at 16:50 hrs from 18 October to 1 November 2025 and will arrive at Gorakhpur at 11:30 hrs the next day. Train No. 08630 Gorakhpur Ranchi Special will depart from Gorakhpur at 15:30 hrs from 19 October to 2 November 2025 and will arrive at Ranchi at 09:30 hrs the next day.
Patna Delhi Vande Bharat train will run 6 days a week
The Patna-Delhi Special Vande Bharat Express will depart from Patna Junction on October 11th and run until November 17th, and the New Delhi Express will depart from October 12th and run until November 16th. It will stop at Aligarh, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara.
Train No. 02253 Patna-New Delhi Special Vande Bharat Express will depart from Patna Junction at 10:00 am and arrive at New Delhi Station at 11:30 pm. This train will run on Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. The journey time will be 13 hours 30 minutes and reach New Delhi.
Train No. 02254 New Delhi-Patna Special Vande Bharat Express will depart from New Delhi at 8:35 am and arrive at Patna Junction at 9:30 pm. It will depart from New Delhi three days a week, on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The train will cover the 994-kilometer journey in 12 hours 55 minutes and reach Patna Junction.
