Raju Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after a heart attack on August 10, where he breathed his last at the age of 58. A team of doctors was constantly trying to improve his health, but he did not regain consciousness and now Raju Srivastava is no more among us.
Raju Srivastava was admitted in AIIMS for 42 days
Let us tell you, on August 10, Raju Srivastava fell unconscious during a workout, after which he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. After being admitted to AIIMS, Raju Srivastava’s angioplasty was done, but even after this there was no improvement in his condition. Raju Srivastava’s brain stopped working and he was put on continuous life support. Although, a few days ago, movement was seen in Raju Srivastava’s hands and feet, but in the end he lost the battle of life.

Raju Srivastava was born on 25 December 1963 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Raju Srivastava is survived by his wife Shikha Srivastava, daughter Antara and son Ayushmann. Apart from this, Raju has elder brother CP Srivastava, younger brother Deepu Srivastava, nephews Mayank and Mridul Srivastava.
Angioplasty 3 times in 10 years
Raju Srivastava was already suffering from heart disease and had undergone angioplasty thrice in 10 years. First, Raju Srivastava got angioplasty done at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital 10 years ago, while secondly he got angioplasty done 7 years ago at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. After this, Raju Srivastava’s angioplasty was done on August 10 at AIIMS, Delhi after the heart attack.
Joined BJP in 2014
The king of comedy Raju Srivastava had also tried his luck in politics and in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) made him a candidate from Kanpur seat. But, Raju Srivastava had returned the ticket and said that he was not getting the support of the local party workers. However, he later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and joined the BJP in March 2014.
