Ramayan’s Sunil Lahri aka Lakshman shares an unseen romantic picture with Anuradha Patel from their film Phir Aayee Barsat


Ramayan and Mahabharat’s rerun has once again brought the lead actors of the iconic shows in the limelight. Actors like Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri have become quite popular with this generation and even these stars want to be connected with them. Sunil Lahri, who played Laxman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan has been sharing many unseen pictures from his different projects. The actor shared an unseen romantic picture from his project Phir Aayee Barsat which had Anuradha Patel opposite him. The back and white picture shared by him on Twitter has Sunil and Anuradha drenched in rain. He also shared with his fans few details about the scene and entioned in his tweet that it was an underwater romantic scene.

He tweeted, “Sharing still from film phir aayee Barsaat we shot an underwater romantic scene.”

Sunil, who became a household name after playing Lakshman has been part of many Hindi films. Not many are aware that Sunil did his very first film, titled, Naxalite with versatile actress, the late Smita Patil.

Sunil had shared a black-and-white picture with the late actress and had captioned the image as: “Sharing old memory with all my friends and followers, I was lucky to work in very first film Naxalite with most talented & beautiful actress late Ms Smita Patil and another very renowned & talented filmmaker writer late Mr k. A. Abbas at my late teenage (sic)”

The actor has also shared a screen space with late actor Vinod Khanna. The legendary actor played his father’s role. Sunil had shared this picture and called himself lucky enough to have got the chance to work with him. The list doesn’t end here, there are some more throwback memories that Sunil has shared on his social media account. Everyone’s favourite Lakshman shared a memory with Juhi Chawla, late politician Sushma Swaraj and a few more.

Talking about Ramayan in the first four episodes of its re-run, Ramayan garnered 170 million viewers, making everyone related to the cult show beam with joy. Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar had announced in a tweet, “Thrilled to share that the re-telecast of RAMAYAN on @ddnational has garnered the highest ever rating for a Hindi GEC show since 2015 (source: @BARCIndia)”
In BARC’s new list, the show remains on the top and is followed by another mythological show, Mahabharat.
