REET 2021 Schedule: Application for REET exam from January 11, revision of syllabus and qualification, invalid for B.Ed Level 1

REET 2021 Schedule: The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) has announced several important changes in the syllabus along with amendments to the syllabus while releasing the schedule for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2021. According to the Reet 2021 release issued by the board, the online application process for the exam will be started from January 11 and interested candidates will be able to submit their applications by 12 pm on February 8. However, the candidates have to pay the prescribed application fee for the exam by 4 February. In addition, according to the Reet 2021 schedule released by the board, the first level (class 1 to 5) and second level (class 6 to 8) examinations are to be conducted in two shifts of 2.30-2.30 hours of morning and afternoon on April 25. At the same time, the candidates will be able to download their admit card for the exam from 14 April 2021.

REET 2021 Qualification Changes

According to the release issued by the board, Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2021 i.e.Reat 2021 has to be the minimum passing score prescribed for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs, MBCs, EWS, Widow Women, Ex-Servicemen, Disabled and Sahariya Tribes for the year 2017 examination. Has announced to reduce the competition.

Apart from this, another important change is that candidates who have got less than 50 per cent marks in graduation but who have got 50 per cent marks in PG, have also been declared eligible for the application. At the same time, the subject of commerce has also been included in Level-2.

Change in syllabus

According to the Reet 2021 release, the earlier Reeit exams have been conducted with syllabus made in 2011, while textbooks have been revised. In such a situation, amending the syllabus according to the instructions of NCTE, it has been announced to include topics related to the geography, history, art, culture, etc. of the state.

B.Ed candidates will not be able to give level 1 examination

Making another important change, the BEd candidates for the Level 1 examination of REET 2021 have been disqualified. According to the notice, such decisions have been taken keeping in mind the interests of the candidates for D.El.D.

Application fees for Reet 2021 will not increase

The board has announced no increase in the application fee for this year’s examination in view of the Covid-19 epidemic. According to the notice, a fee of Rs 550 will be charged for Level 1 and 2 of Reet 2021 and Rs 750 for both levels.
