Republic Day 2026: India’s Republic Day Parade 2026, including the full dress rehearsal and Beating the Retreat ceremony, will be a spectacular display of the country’s military might, cultural diversity and the pride of the Constitution. The Ministry of Defence has announced that ticket sales for the general public will begin on January 5 (Monday), allowing citizens across the country to watch these grand events live in Delhi.
Events and their significance
Tickets cover three major events:
- Republic Day Parade: January 26, 2026 – Tableaux, flypasts, and felicitation ceremonies.
- Full Dress Rehearsal: January 28, 2026 – A glimpse of the grandeur.
- Beating Retreat Ceremony: January 29, 2026 – Concludes with patriotic tunes.

- Republic Day Parade: ₹20 or ₹100
- Full Dress Rehearsal: ₹20
- Beating Retreat: ₹100
Tickets will be available online from 9 am onwards from January 5 to 14, 2026 (or until seats are full).

Book easily on the official Aamantran portal www.aamantran.mod.gov.in. This facility is available to people across India, without waiting in line.
Offline Ticket Counters (Valid ID Required)
Six counters will be open in Delhi from January 5–14 (10 am–1 pm and 2–5 pm):
- Sena Bhawan (Gate 5)
- Shastri Bhawan (Gate 3)
- Jantar Mantar (Main Gate)
- Parliament House (Reception)
- Rajiv Chowk Metro (D Block, Gates 3–4)
- Kashmere Gate Metro (Concourse, Gate 8)
Note: Original photo ID such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Passport must be presented and brought on the day of the event.
