Submit Life Certificate New Service: Good News! Submit life certificate through video call sitting at home, understand the complete process step by step

If your pension comes in State Bank of India then there is a big update for you. SBI is going to introduce a new facility from 1st November. After which the pensioners will not have to go to the bank to submit the life certificate. According to the information given by the bank on Twitter, any pensioner will be able to submit his life certificate through video call from November 1. Let us know what is the whole process-




This whole process-

  • First of all you have to visit https://www.pensionseva.sbi/.
  • After this you have to click on ‘Video LC’.
  • In the third step, you have to enter the SBI Pension Account Number.
  • After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
  • Read all the terms and conditions carefully and then click on ‘Start Journey’.
  • After this, keep your PAN card with you and click on ‘I am ready’.
  • After that give permission to start video call.
  • Your video call will start on the availability of SBI officer. Apart from this, you can also choose the time according to your convenience.
  • Once the video call starts, the officials will ask you to read the four digit number displayed on your screen.
  • You have to show the PAN card so that the authorities can take its photo.
  • After this a picture of you will also be taken. After which your process will be completed.

If your process is not successful, you will be informed through video call. In such circumstances, the pensioner will have to go to the branch and submit his life certificate. Let us tell you, the process of submission of life certificate has started from 1 October 2021 and will continue till 30 November.
