Zoom TV Digital quoted a source as saying that ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ star Aishwarya was included in the list of actresses who had the potential to become Dayaben.
It is also being said that she also gave excellent performance in this character. The source added, “The makers wanted to bring in an actress who can easily capture Daya’s wit, as ‘Taarak Mehta…’ is a cult show and fans still miss Daya. They thought Aishwarya was this. Can fit well in a role.”
