TCS Big announcement: Bumper gift of 4 lakh employees of TCS, increased salary for the second time in 6 months

TCS Big announcement: This step symbolizes our firm commitment to employees. This will be the second increment which the company will implement in 6 months.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has become the first major IT services company to announce increments for the financial year 2021-22. A TCS spokesperson said that the wage hike would be applicable from April 2021. The company said in a statement, “We can confirm that we, along with our partners, are on track to give increments to all employees during April 2021.”

A TCS spokesperson said, “This step symbolizes our firm commitment to our employees.” This will be the second increment which the company will implement within 6 months. The wage increase was delayed in March last year due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. With the increment of FY 2022, TCS employees will get an average salary increase of around 12–14 per cent and this will be as per the norms of the company.

These companies also gave gifts to employees

With the increment, TCS will continue to offer promotions as per the regular promotion cycle. The company’s peer Accenture announced a one-time bonus to employees, which would equal their one-week base salary on 18 March.

On the other hand, Cognizant India’s managing director Rajesh Nambiar said in a statement that on the basis of performance, the US-based IT giant Cognizant has promoted 24,000 employees globally and increased salaries by 1.6 employees. At the same time, between October 2020 and January 2021, Infosys, Wipro and HCL Tech have increased the salary of their employees.

TCS is the world’s third most valuable IT brand

According to a report by Brand Finance, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the third most valuable IT brand in the world. In this sense, Accenture and IBM are ahead of TCS. The report found four Indian companies TCS, Infosys, HCL and Wipro among the top ten companies in the world. According to a report by Brand Finance, the gap between third-ranked TCS and second-ranked IBM is rapidly shrinking and the brand value of TCS rose 11 percent to US $ 15 billion. The company has gained particularly in the European and American markets and it hopes that the coming year will prove to be better for it.
