Telecom New Rule: These rules related to your mobile SIM card have changed, know immediately

Telecom New Rule: The government has changed the rules related to mobile connection and SIM, after which the customers will benefit a lot. This change was being demanded for the last several days.

New Delhi: Mobile has become everyone’s need. Nowadays many things are done with the help of mobile. The government has made changes in the rules related to mobile numbers or telephone connections. Now to get any new mobile number, KYC will be completely digital i.e. you will not have to submit any kind of paper or form for KYC. Now no form will have to be filled for prepaid or SIM ported postpaid SIM.

The government has allowed self-KYC by changing the rules related to mobile, which will be app based. For this e-KYC, only Re 1 will have to be charged. Whereas, for converting from pre-paid to post-paid and post-paid to pre-paid, new KYC will not be required. This decision was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi held recently.

No need to submit any documents

According to the information, the customer will not have to submit any kind of document or form for KYC. No form will have to be filled for work like converting postpaid SIM to prepaid and there will be digital KYC for this too. Now KYC will be completely digital for the customer to get a new mobile number or telephone connection. If a customer changes his prepaid number to postpaid or postpaid to prepaid, then he has to complete the KYC process every time. But now KYC will have to be done only once.

This is how self KYC can be done

Explain that companies ask customers for documents for KYC. If a customer does KYC by uploading documents online, then it is called Self KYC. It can also be done from website or app. For KYC, telecom companies ask customers for some documents, for which customers have to go to telecom agencies or franchisees. But now you can do self-KYC sitting at home. For this you will have to upload documents on the company’s website Ua App.
