She hoped in the letter that she would use all her powers as a mother to change her mind to PM Narendra Modi.
Harpreet Singh, a resident of village Golu Ka Modh in Firozpur district of Punjab, has written this letter in Hindi. He appealed to 100-year-old Hiraben Modi and included many emotional points in it. He has discussed issues like weather conditions, under which farmers are protesting, popular nature of demand for repeal of laws, contribution of farmers in hunger in the country and their contribution in securing the borders of the country.

Singh has written, “I am writing this letter with a heavy heart, as you know that the food providers who feed the country and the world are forced to sleep on the streets of Delhi even in the cold winter due to the three black laws. Apart from the elderly of 90-95 years, children and women are also involved. The harsh cold is making people sick. Even people are getting martyred, which is a matter of concern for all of us. ”
He further wrote, “This peaceful movement on the borders of Delhi has been caused by three black laws passed at the behest of Adani, Ambani and other corporate houses.”
Singh is among those farmers who have been protesting with thousands of farmers for nearly two months on the border in and around Delhi after Parliament passed three new agricultural laws in September 2020. During this period, several rounds of talks have been held with the government of the farmers’ organizations, but none has been successful. Due to the farmer movement, more than 75 exhibitors have lost their lives, many of whom have committed suicide.
Singh was arrested a few days ago for demonstrating without permission in Shimla. He was later released on bail. He wrote in the letter, “I have written this letter with much hope and hope.
