LPG subsidy is one of the benefits given by the Government of India to individuals on the purchase of their gas cylinders every month. Once individuals apply for this scheme, individuals have to check the status of their subsidy application to see if they are getting subsidy or not. Individuals are required to provide their Aadhar card details in order to apply for this scheme.

However, despite these measures, many times individuals are not able to get subsidy in their account. There can be many reasons for this happening. But due to these reasons or due to such inconvenience, the tendency of individuals towards the purchase of the initiative scheme starts to decrease.

What to do if there is no subsidy in the bank

  • The subsidy has not been received despite the cylinder being delivered – once the cylinder is delivered , it takes 2-3 days for the subsidy to reach the bank account of the individuals. If individuals do not get their subsidy even after this period, they can contact DBTL Complaint Cell.
  • The subsidy has been transferred but it did not come to the bank account – if there have been no failed transactions and the amount has been transferred. But if the person has not received, then the person can take his Aadhar card and go to the bank branch. Alternatively, they can link their Aadhaar card to another bank account.
  • The transaction has failed – if the subsidy has been sent but it is not visible in the bank account of the person, then he should go to the bank branch with his Aadhaar card and inquire about it.
  • Cylinder booked, but LPG subsidy not received – Individuals are advised to wait for 4 days. If subsidy is not available, you can call the toll free number 18002333555. The customer care will help you and all the updates related to the subsidy will be sent to your mobile number.
