Train Cancelled: Repair work of up and down railway line is to be done between Rourkela to Kasbahal and Bandamunda A Cabin to Rourkela stations under Chakradharpur Railway Division from 11 October to 20 January 2026. Due to which 16 trains will be canceled.
According to the information received from the railway, repair work will be done between Rourkela to Kasbahal stations from 11 October to 16 December. At the same time, the railway line will be repaired between Bandamunda A Cabin to Rourkela stations from 20 December to 20 January 2026. This work will be done through TRT machines by taking a mega block of 05:30 hours every Tuesday and Saturday.
Due to repair work, South East Railway has cancelled the operation of 16 trains passing through Chakradharpur Railway Division on different dates. While four trains will be run by short termination and short origination. At the same time, the railway will run three trains on a diverted route.
In this regard, South East Railway Deputy Chief Operations Manager Srinivas Samant has issued a notification letter. As soon as this work is completed, the punctuality and speed of trains will increase. At the same time, passengers will have to face problems due to the cancellation of trains.
These trains will remain cancelled on these dates
- Train number 18109 and 18110 Tata-Itwari-Tata-Express will remain cancelled on 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 October and 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 November and 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026.
- Train number 18175 and 18176 Hatia-Jharsuguda-Hatia Express will remain cancelled on 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 October and 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 November and 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026.
- Train number 68029 and 68030 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU will remain cancelled on 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 October and 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29 November and 2, 6, 9, 13, 16 December.
- Train number 68043 and 68044 Tata-Rourkela-Tata MEMU will remain cancelled on 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026.
- Train number 13288 Ara-Durg South Bihar Express will remain cancelled on 10, 17, 24, 31 October and 7, 14, 21, 28 November and 5, 12 December.
- Train number 13287 Durg-Ara South Bihar Express will remain cancelled on 11, 18, 25 October and 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November and 6, 13 December.
- Train number 18125 and 18126 Rourkela- Puri- Rourkela Express will remain cancelled on 11, 18, 25 October and 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November and 6, 13 December.
- Train number 18107 and 18108 Rourkela-Jagdalpur-Rourkela Express will remain cancelled on 14, 21, 28 October and 4, 11, 18, 25 November and 2, 9, 16 December.
- Train number 58659 Hatia-Rourkela Passenger will remain cancelled on 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026.
- Train number 58660 Rourkela – Hatia Passenger will remain cancelled on 21, 24, 28, 31 December and 4, 7, 11, 14, 18 and 21 January 2026.
These trains will run with short termination and short origination
- Train number 22861 Howrah – Kantabanji Ispat Express leaving from Howrah on 14, 21, 28 October and 4, 11, 18, 25 November and 2, 9, 16 December will run till Rourkela station. Ispat Express will remain cancelled between Rourkela and Kantabanji stations.
- Train number 12872 Titlagarh – Howrah Ispat Express leaving from Titlagarh on 14, 21, 28 October and 4, 11, 18, 25 November and 2, 9, 16 December will run till Jharsuguda station. Ispat Express will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda and Howrah stations.
- On 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 03, 06, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026, train number 22861/12871Howrah – Kantabanji and Titlagarh – Howrah Ispat Express will operate up to Tatanagar station. On these dates, the operation of Ispat Express will remain canceled between Tata – Kantabanji – Titlagarh stations.
- On 20, 23, 27, 30 December and 03, 06, 10, 13, 17, 20 January 2026, train number 22862 /12872 Kantabanji – Howrah and Titlagarh – Howrah Ispat Express will operate up to Jharsuguda station. On these dates, the operation of Ispat Express will remain canceled between Jharsuguda to Howrah stations.
These trains will run on diverted routes
- Train number 18478 Yoganagari Rishikesh – Puri Utkal Express leaving from Yoganagari Rishikesh on 10, 17, 24, 31 October and 07, 14, 21, 28 November and 05, 12 December will go to Puri via diverted route via Ib, Jharsuguda Road, Sambalpur City, Cuttack. On these dates, the operation of Utkal Express will remain cancelled between Jharsuguda and Tatanagar stations.
- Puri – Yoganagari Rishikesh Utkal Express leaving from Puri on 13, 20, 27 October and 03, 10, 17, 24 November and 01, 08, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 December and 02, 05, 09, 12, 16, 19 January 2026 will run via diverted route via Cuttack, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda Road, Ib station to Rishikesh. On these dates, the operation of Utkal Express will remain canceled between Tatanagar and Jharsuguda stations.
- Train No. 13288 Ara – Durg South Bihar Express leaving from Ara on 10, 17, 24, 31 October and 7, 14, 21, 28 November and 5, 12 December will run via the diverted route via Kandra Sini station to Durg instead of Tatanagar.
