This list includes Tejas Express, Humsafar Express, Amrit Bharat Express, superfast and passenger trains. These changes, which will take effect on different dates, may cause inconvenience if passengers arrive at the station without checking the new schedule.
According to railway officials, this change has been made to improve track maintenance, operational improvements, and train punctuality. The new timings will be implemented from January 30, 2026, while for some trains, the changes will be effective from the first week of February 2026.
Timings of these 12 trains changed
According to information released by the railway, the trains whose timetables have been changed include the 54020 Rohtak Junction-Rewari Junction Passenger (from January 30, 2026), the 82502 Lucknow Junction-New Delhi Tejas Express (from February 1, 2026), and the 22449 Guwahati-New Delhi Express (from January 31, 2026). Additionally, the timings of the Silchar-New Delhi North-East Sampark Kranti Express and the 12349 Godda-New Delhi Humsafar Express will be changed from February 2, 2026. The new timing of 14619 Agartala-Ferozepur Cantt Tripura Sundari Express will be effective from 5 February 2026.
Superfast, Amrit Bharat, and passenger trains also included
The timings of the 22427 Ballia-Anand Vihar Superfast Express and the 12583 Lucknow Junction-Anand Vihar Double Decker Express will change from February 1, 2026. The new timings for the 15557 Darbhanga Junction-Anand Vihar Amrit Bharat Express and the 54329 Balamau Junction-Shahjahanpur Junction passenger trains will be effective from February 2 and January 30, 2026. The timings of the 54075 Bareilly Junction-Delhi Junction passenger train will also change from January 30, 2026, while the timings of the 13020 Kathgodam-Howrah Junction Bagh Express have been changed with immediate effect.
What should passengers do?
The Railways has urged passengers to confirm the new timings with the IRCTC website, the railway helpline, or the nearest station before traveling. Failure to provide timely information could result in missed trains or unnecessary waiting.
