UIDAI said that if you have improved or updated the date of birth once in Aadhaar, then you will not be able to do it again.
New Delhi. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has tweeted from its official Twitter account to ensure that the child’s date of birth is thoroughly checked before submitting the child’s Aadhaar details to create Aadhaar for the child. After this, the birth date can be improved / upgraded only once.

The UIDAI has also answered some questions related to the improvement and upgrade of the date of birth in Aadhaar . According to this, any person can update the date of birth in his Aadhaar. For this, you will be required to submit a valid date of birth certificate in your name.

UIDAI said that if you have improved or updated the birth date once in Aadhaar, then you will not be able to do it again. However UIDAI has said that in case where you need to update the date of birth again very much, then you have to follow an exception procedure.
Under this, you will have to visit the Aadhaar center with a valid birth date certificate in your name. If your application is rejected there, you can call 1947 or mail for help@uidai.gov.in and share your latest application number and contact details and apply for ‘exception update’.
UIDAI has also said that if you are updating your date of birth for the first time, then you can call 1947 to find out the reason for the cancellation and apply again by taking the corrective steps mentioned.
