UIDAI has tweeted, in which it is written that not all 12 digit numbers can be Aadhaar numbers, so you should know whether your Aadhaar number is real or fake. You can easily check this from the official website of UIDAI. Apart from this, you can also use the mAadhaar app for this verification.

In this way check whether your aadhar is real or fake-

>> You have to first click on this URL – https://resident.uidai.gov.in/verify

>> As soon as you click on it, a page will open in front of you.

>> Once you open the Aadhaar Verification page, you will see a text box where you have to enter your Aadhaar number.

>> Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number.

>> Enter the captcha shown in the display.

>> After that click on Verify button.

>> If your aadhaar number is correct then a new page will open in which you will get a message that your aadhaar number is as it is 9908XXXXXXXX.

>> Along with this, your age, your gender and the name of the state will also be shown below it.

>> In this way you can know whether your Aadhar card is real or fake.

Complaint can be lodged by calling

You can also complain through mail
