UP Board Exam Cancelled: UP Board cancels 12th exam, CM said – safety of children is the first priority

UP Board Exam Cancelled: After CBSE, now the class XII examination of Uttar Pradesh Board has also been canceled. The students will be passed through internal assessment. It is worth noting that the UP Board has already canceled the class X examination. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the cancellation of CBSE’s Class XII examinations. Since then, there has been increased pressure on the boards of all the states to cancel the class XII examination. On Thursday, the state government announced the cancellation of the class XII examination.

The Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Dr Dinesh Sharma, has announced the cancellation of the Class XII examination after talking to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Human Resource Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. This year 26 lakh 10 thousand 316 candidates have been registered for the intermediate examination of UP Board. Now all these students will be passed through internal assessment method.

However, the internal assessment criteria for passing class XII students are yet to be announced.

These boards including Haryana and Madhya Pradesh have also canceled the class XII examinations

. Before the UP Board, Haryana Board, Gujarat Board, Madhya Pradesh Board and Uttarakhand Board have canceled the Class XII examinations. Students in all these states will be passed this year through internal assessment method. At the same time, the Maharashtra Board can also announce the cancellation of class XII examinations within the coming day or two. At the same time, the ICSI board has also canceled the class XII examination.

It is worth noting that earlier in view of Corona virus and Panchayat elections, the examinations of class X and XII of UP Board were postponed. After this, when the CBSE announced the cancellation of the class X examination, a few days after that the UP Board also canceled the class X examination.

Chief Minister said- Health security of children top priority

The Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath says that in view of the current circumstances of the Kovid epidemic, the health security of children is our top priority. With the inspiration of the respected Prime Minister, the UP government has decided that in the current academic session, Board examinations of 10th and 12th of the Board of Secondary Education will not be conducted. He said this through tweet.
