In such a situation, the State Election Commission can announce the election soon after the release of reservation list. It is expected that with the announcement of elections in the first week of April, the code of conduct will be imposed in the state.
For this reason, a big meeting has been called by the State Election Commission. The State Election Commission is going to do video conferencing with all the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police from 1:00 pm on Thursday afternoon. Preparations for elections in all districts will be reviewed through video conferencing. Besides the State Election Commissioner, other officers of the Commission will also be involved in the meeting.
The reserved seats will be calculated in proportion to the population
As per the new mandate, reservation will be arranged in 75 posts of District Panchayat President, 826 of Block Head and 58194 posts of Village Head. District Panchayat presidents, block heads and village heads in the state include ST, SC And the number of posts to be reserved for OBCs will be calculated in proportion to their population in the state. Seats in the panchayats will be reserved according to the reservation of 33 percent for women, 27 percent for OBC, 23 percent for ST and SC.
Reservation will be fixed in this way
The mandate states that the seats for the posts of district panchayat president, block head, village head and village, area and district panchayat member were reserved for the elections for this time in the year 2015. Will not be reserved for. For example, for the allotment of the post of Block Head reserved for women, the area panchayats of the district which have been reserved for ST-SC and OBC, removing those remaining will be placed in descending order of the general category population. First of all, the woman’s seat will be allotted in those area panchayats which have not been allotted in the women category in the 2015 panchayat elections.

The list will be available by March 27
Before the cancellation of the reservation list, it was expected that the election would be announced on 25 or 26 March and the code of conduct would be imposed, but the rules for fixing the reservation list on the orders of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court Due to the change in these dates will be extended a little further.
