Voting will be held on April 26 in twenty districts in the third phase between the election of Uttar Pradesh Chief Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar in strict adherence to Kovid rules and strict re-election in any way.
According to the election office, polling will be held for the election of 746 Zilla Panchayat, 18530 Kshetra Panchayat and 14321 Gram Panchayat members. For this, three crore, five lakh, 71 thousand 613 voters will vote at 49789 polling booths. Polling will be held in Amethi, Unnao, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kasganj , Chandauli, Jalauna, Deoria, Pilibhit, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Balrampur, Ballia, Barabanki, Meerut, Moradabad, Mizarpur, Shamli, Siddharthnagar and Hamirpur in the state. Polling will start at 7 am and will run till 6 pm. All those in the line will be allowed to vote.
