Currently, Vande Bharat trains with chair cars are running on various routes across the country. These trains have further improved the image of the railways. Meanwhile, a good news has come. Actually, this month the railways have started two Vande Bharat trains, which have 20 coaches. Till now, Vande Bharat trains with 16 coaches and 8 coaches were running. Due to the increase in the number of coaches, now more passengers will be able to travel by these trains than before.

According to the report of ‘ET Now’, these 20 coach Vande Bharat Express will replace the currently running 16 coach Vande Bharat. These two trains have been assigned to Southern Railway (SR) and South Central Railway (SCR) zones. That is, one 20 coach Vande Bharat train will be operated on both these routes. These two 20 coach Vande Bharat trains will run on Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasargod and Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad routes. Due to this, the seating capacity of these trains has now increased from 1,128 to 1440.

The Vande Bharat train running between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kasargod is numbered 20634/20633 and it covers the 588 km journey in 8 hours and 5 minutes. It is the fastest train on this route and runs on all days except Thursday. This train number 20634 departs from Trivandrum Central at 05:15 and reaches its destination at 13:20. On the return journey, the train departs from Kasargod at 2:30 pm and reaches Trivandrum Central at 22:40 pm. Talking about the second train, it will run on the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad route. This train covers the 699 km journey in 8.35 hours. The train runs on all days except Tuesday.
