Weather Alert Today: Alert of heavy rain in 32 districts, warning of lightning, know the condition of cities – IMD forecast

Intermittent light rain may occur over East Uttar Pradesh from July 28 i.e. Friday till July 30. There is also a forecast of heavy rains in some districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

UP Weather Alert Today: Monsoon has once again gained momentum in UP. Today on Friday, rain warning has been issued in more than 50 districts of the state. Out of this, heavy rain alert has been issued in 32 districts. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon rains will continue in the state till July 31. There is a possibility of good rainfall on Saturday and Sunday as well. Along with the rain, a warning of lightning and lightning has also been issued.

According to the UP Meteorological Department, there are possibilities of rain in most parts of western UP. In the next 24 hours, there are possibilities of light rain with thunder in 46 districts including Lucknow, Barabanki, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Ayodhya. There, heavy rains are expected in 18 districts including Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Kaushambi, Hamirpur and Mahoba. As soon as the monsoon becomes active, moist winds have started coming again from the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of heavy rains in eastern UP after the next two days. Light rain may occur intermittently. There is also a forecast of heavy rains in some districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain alert in these districts today

  • According to the UP Meteorological Department, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Jalaun, An alert for heavy rain with thunder and lightning has been issued in the surrounding districts including Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Banda, Amethi, Pratapgarh, Chitrakoot.
  • Light to moderate rain is forecast in Baghpat, Meerut, Amroha, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Badaun, Barabanki, Shravasti, Gonda, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Santakbirnagar, Maharajganj and Balrampur.
  • Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Hardoi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Agra, Firozabad, Etawauraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas Lightning and lightning warnings have been issued.
  • On July 29, it is expected to rain with thunder and lightning in western and eastern UP. Heavy rain is expected along with lightning at one or two places.
  • On July 30, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP. On the other hand, it is expected to rain with thunder and lightning at almost all places in Eastern UP. On July 31, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western and eastern UP.

Know where the temperature will be

  • The minimum temperature of all the districts of Uttar Pradesh is forecast to be between 27°C to 29°C.
  • In the capital Lucknow, the maximum temperature is expected to be 24 degree Celsius on Friday while the minimum temperature is expected to be 29 degree Celsius.
  • Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur, Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia, Bahraich, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Banda, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Fatehgarh, Basti, Jhansi and Hamirpur maximum temperature of 35 to 38 degree Celsius. The forecast is to stay in the middle.
  • Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Aligarh, and Bulandshahr are forecast to have maximum temperatures ranging between 36°C to 37°C.
  • In districts like Ghaziabad and Noida, the maximum temperature is forecast to be between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius.
  • The maximum temperature in Mathura and Chitrakoot may remain between 30°C to 38°C.
