Weather Update: Heatwave alert in more than 10 states, relief news for Delhiites.

Rain is continuing across the country and heatwave at other places. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of sporadic rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 km per hour) in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during April 18 and 21. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert in many states across the country till April 20.

Weather Update: The weather pattern of entire North India including the national capital Delhi has changed these days. At some places it is raining and at some places heatwave is continuing. At the same time, these days the people of Delhi have got relief from the scorching heat. The people of Delhi are getting respite from the heat wave sometimes due to sporadic rains and sometimes dark clouds in the sky.

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered rain with thunder, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) is likely over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during April 18 and 21.

How will be the weather of Delhi?

Delhiites will continue to get respite from the heat in the coming days. In Delhi, there has been intense sunshine and intermittent clouds movement for the last several days. The Meteorological Department estimates that it will remain partly cloudy on Wednesday also. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 35 to 22 degrees Celsius respectively.

Heat will haunt Bihar too

The weather remains dry due to the flow of hot air in the state including the capital Patna. At the same time, during the next four to five days, the heat will increase with the temperature increasing by two to three degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, with the change in weather from April 18, hot air will spread. A two to three degree increase in temperature will increase the impact of heat.

Heatwave alert issued in many states across the country till April 20

At the same time, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert in many states across the country till April 20. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert in Konkan, Goa, Saurashtra, Kutch today i.e. on 17th April. Apart from this, scorching heat will prevail over isolated areas of Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 17th and 18th April.

At the same time, heat wave has also been predicted in Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal during 16 to 20 April and in Telangana on 17 and 18 April.

Drops of relief will fall in these states

Apart from this, if we talk about rain, the Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya today. Apart from this, scattered rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds has been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Mahe and other states till April 20.
