Weather update of UP-Bihar
There is severe cold in UP-Bihar adjacent to Delhi. There is dense fog in the sky in the morning, but light sunshine comes out during the day. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of fog in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Sant Kabir Nagar, Kushinagar, Basti, Bahraich today. However, there may be drizzle in many cities of UP till 18-20 January.
A dense fog alert has also been issued in Bihar today. The Meteorological Department has stated that dense fog will prevail in several districts, including the capital Patna, West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhubani, Saharsa, Darbhanga, Bhagalpur, Gaya, and Nawada, and visibility will be reduced.
When will it snow in the mountains?
Whether it’s Uttarakhand or Himachal Pradesh, the weather is set to deteriorate in both states starting today. Due to the activation of a western disturbance, the International Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a snowfall alert in high-altitude areas for the next three days. However, severe cold will continue for the next five days due to cold waves and fog in several districts of Himachal Pradesh, including Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi, Bilaspur, and Una.
