IMD Weather Update: Due to dense fog in many states of the country, trains and flights are running late, due to which passengers are facing a lot of problems.
Weather Update Today: It is extremely cold across North India at this time. It has become difficult for people to get out of the house. People are facing many problems due to dense fog. Meanwhile, while issuing a new update, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of very dense fog in the North Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh for the next five days.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense to very dense fog is expected in Delhi-NCR in the next 24 hours. Along with this, IMD has issued a yellow alert in Delhi today i.e. Tuesday (January 23). The sky is expected to remain clear during the day. After the sun came out in the capital on Monday, people got some respite from the cold.
According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday (January 23) is likely to be 18 degrees Celsius. Talking about the minimum temperature, it can be 8 degrees Celsius, although dense fog is expected in Delhi today.
The Meteorological Department said in its update that there will be dense to very dense dark shadow in most areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh today. Due to fog, rail and road as well as air traffic is badly affected.
During the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in different parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar remained between 3-7°C. The lowest minimum temperature of 2.8°C was recorded in Datia (Western Madhya Pradesh).
